More about me…

I have enjoyed writing all my life, but I first began aspiring to become a scientific writer while studying at the University of Delaware. As a neuroscience major, I started a science column (“Brain, Body, Mind”) in the student paper where I explored the intersection of science and day-to-day life. The research and communication skills I gained in those days prepared me well for my budding career as a pharmaceutical writer.

In 2015, I joined Synergy Medical Communications (then known as Synergy Medical Education) as a Project Assistant, owning the Veeva submission process in preparation for MLR review. I had the opportunity to grow into a medical writer at Synergy and led the first marketing content development jobs of my career.

My second role as a pharmaceutical advertising copywriter taught me about working on much larger, AOR-sized accounts and first introduced me to the idea of creative concepting based on brand strategy.

In 2019, I became an early employee at PPM Advisory Group, a scientific services startup based in New Jersey. This opportunity afforded me tremendous experience and professional growth and I wore many hats. In addition to my contributions as a medical SME and pharmaceutical writer, my dedicated client service led to exceptional company growth and an eventual acquisition by Red Nucleus Solutions (Yardley, PA). During this time I also completed my advanced degree (MS, Pharmacology) at Thomas Jefferson University in Philly.

Since then, I’ve explored my entrepreneurial aspirations, briefly starting a garden consulting firm in Wilmington, DE before launching my freelance medical writing and editing business. To deepen my capabilities, I also spent about a year at mock5 design, inc. in Lansdale, PA as a Senior Editor before taking my freelance business full-time.
